Like other Bob Jones textbooks, each chapter contains section review questions, as well as questions at the end of each chapter. The rest of the book is divided into eight units of world regions. This section includes general terms and issues to be aware of. The first two units of Geography for Christian Schools contain a five chapter general introduction to the subject, in which the text describes the world as God made it (physical geography), and discusses the implications of man subduing the world with industry and society (human geography). Because the text comes from a Christian worldview, it assumes that God created the world, and it emphasizes the spiritual needs of the peoples of the world, taking some time to discuss other major world religions, from a Protestant perspective. It covers both main branches of geography, dealing with physical geography and the cultures of the world, similar to a course like Exploring World Geography-but in contrast with programs like Runkle and Mapping the World by Heart, which focus only on the physical and cartographical aspects. Their text, now in its fifth edition, is a large book, professionally layed-out and filled with plenty of full-color illustrations, charts, and maps.
